The Eucharistic celebration was officiated by Rev. Fr. Antonio C. Villarin, who underscored the importance of offering one’s sins and weaknesses to God while consciously exerting effort toward personal growth and improvement. His message encouraged accountability alongside faith, setting the tone for the succeeding discussions.
Key announcements were presented to guide faculty and staff on upcoming activities and compliance requirements. A reminder was issued regarding the First Quarterly Gender and Development Focal Points System (GAD FPS) Meeting scheduled on January 9, 2026, at the NBSC Boardroom.
The Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) required the signing of contracts for Job Order (JO) personnel today and reminded Contract of Service (COS) teachers to submit their faculty load credits by January 7, 2026, for endorsement on January 8, 2026. Regular employees were also advised of the annual submission of mandatory documents, including the Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN), Medical Certificate of Fitness to Work, and updated Personal Data Sheet (PDS). The first Internal Quality Audit (IQA) is scheduled for January 26 to 30, 2026. Additional updates covered institutional and operational matters. The documents formalizing the Committee on Decorum and Investigation, the Disciplinary Committee, and the Grievance Committee remain pending with the Legal Office (LO), with the HRMDO designated as the receiving office for all related complaints. Offices were instructed to prepare their respective organizational structures within the week using the template to be provided by the Public Affairs and Information Office (PAIO).
Safety and facilities concerns were likewise discussed, including the finalization of the campus evacuation plan, coordination meetings with building-in-charge personnel, and the processing of the campus elevator’s permit to operate with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Manolo Fortich.
